Ben has worked with his broker, John, at Merrill Lynch for years. John seems to be doing a good job, but Ben feels he has no way of knowing for sure. He has recently been reading about how timing the market works against long-term investors, yet John frequently calls him saying he should sell some of his investments because he has “better” ones that are “hot” right now. John seems to really understand the markets (which Ben never has) and so he agrees to the trades.
Ben would like an expert to look over his portfolio and give him an unbiased opinion on the value and appropriateness of his current investments.
Ben needs an Investment Review.
